We always suggest that it would be desirable to visit the club and speak to present members
to get a feel for the club, and what is required from members. Most members will be willing
to sign an application form if asked.
The bar at the club is open 7.30pm on a Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. These are the
days when there are usually members around the club premises, although there are people
around most of the time.
All members are expected to help in the running of the club facilities. There is a bar rota for
Saturday nights when members run the club bar. We hold work parties 3 times per year for
maintenance of the grounds and building. Social events are also organised throughout the
Full members are able to apply for a mooring once they have been accepted into the club.
Moorings are allocated on a first come first served basis and are only reserved once the,

offered a mooring as and when they become available.
Our moorings are £13 per foot per annum, have water points situated along the length of the
moorings, electricity meters per mooring, lighting & elsan disposal. The clubhouse has
toilets, a shower, Wi-Fi and bar facilities.
This is a brief description of what we are able to offer, please visit the club to find out if it
would be suitable for you as a person. We accept applications from people who are
interested in canals / boats, or are boaters themselves. We do however require members to
be actively involved and help run a very friendly and successful club.
On receipt of your application, your name will be displayed on the club noticeboard for a
period of two weeks. We then invite all prospective members for an interview before
accepting them for membership.
